"The Donald Cafe is an excellent, no nonsense country restaurant that is staffed by its owners. The service is exceptional and fast, even during the busiest of times, the portions are large and the prices are very fair.
We used to only go on weekend mornings when we needed a hearty, not too greasy breakfast (the Country Boy is a personal favorite) to carry us through a day of manual labor. We have recently found that they make excellent cheese burgers and reubens, as well."

Holy smokes, this place is incredible! The pancakes (emphasis on the word cake) are quite simply amazing, the bacon is pure perfection, the hashbrowns are so heavenly you never want them to end and the cinnamon rolls are a gooey molten lava butter and cinnamon concoction that just cannot be beat. This place is family run and the service is fast and small-town friendly every time. You just cannot go wrong with this one!

"Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day so I'm pretty picky, however I can't find anything to complain about. The portions were great, I couldn't finish it all. My favorite part? The bacon! You know how when you go to regular chain breakfast houses, your side of bacon is 3 extremely small pieces, so thin you can see through them? This was certainly not the case. The bacon was large and in charge! I was very pleased! Hash browns were done perfect, a little crispy but not burnt and the eggs were cooked exactly to order. We liked it so much we decided to become "locals" or "regulars" and make it a monthly trip.Service is great, everyone is friendly, definitely has a small town feeling, especially since most of the patrons seem to know each other, or the staff.Overall, I'd say that the meal was great, extra points for being open early, and two thumbs up for not being shy about the bacon! We will be returning!
PS. The pancakes are GINORMOUS!"
"Fluffy-tender pancakes, crisp-but-not-too-crisp generous servings of bacon, and golden-not-greasy hashbrowns / home fries. Donald Café serves the ur-American breakfast that many "family-dining" establishments promise but few deliver, and they make it from scratch. The diners seemed to be mostly local folks and the restaurant was a family-run affair. Service was attentive and just sassy enough without crossing into cranky/rude. It was an earnest, delicious, small-town diner experience totally free of kitsch. I would totally go again."
